Day 1- Jillian Michaels Body Revolution

If you're scared to work out; GET OVER IT! Just get off the couch and do it! Don't give up on yourself; on your life. Aren't you worth loving? The first person that should love you should be yourself! How can you expect someone else to love you and to treat you right if you don't even feel like you're worth the effort? If you're reading this; today is the day for a new you! Today is the day the excuses stop! Take control of your life! You can't control politics, you can't control today's youth, you can't control oil prices; but.... you can control you! You  can control what  you eat and how healthy you are! So get up and start changing yourself for the better! :)



I bought this product to lose the extra 20lbs of baby weight I have left. At this rate it will be gone in  no time! Yesterday I weighed in at 163lbs; today (even after eating all my meals I decided to weigh myself anyways) I am now 158! That's 5lbs in one day! I couldn't believe it. This programs is the bee's knees. So....first off let me say; that I have never been this anxious to go to sleep so I can wake up in the morning and work out again. These work out videos are AMAZING and ... FUN! Yeah; I said it, FUN! Every time I felt like I was about to give up Jillian would have something to get me laughing and feel good about myself and that motivated me to keep it going. I finished with flying colors! I mean; yes, we can be honest, I was in the military and have gone through BCT and gave birth to my son without medication 5 months ago so I am use to getting my butt kicked; but I have never had this much fun doing it! I love the fact that she has an interval system so that you can do the work out no matter what shape you're in. Also, the food is great! It's delicious! I highly recommend buying this to ANYONE that wants a healthier lifestyle. A lot of women are hung up on the idea that they want to be skinny. I've been skinny; however, it was a skinny fat. The skinny where you aren't considered overweight but your thighs still jiggle when you walk and your stomach still rolls when you sit. It's taken me years to figure it out but I DON'T want to be skinny anymore. Nope; sure don't. What I want to be is FIT! I want to be in great shape to set a good example for my children and be able to keep up with my physically active husband. [I'm so sick of going hiking with him and he's miles ahead of me. I want to be beside him every step of the way!] Before I bought this I tried to find reviews on the product but because it's so new I couldn't find much. So this remainder of this post will a little about the program and things you should know before purchasing.



When you receive the system you will get 3 books of DVDs (1 for each month). In each book there are 5 DVDs (4 workouts and 1 cardio). You will also receive a 90 day journal (which I pre-filled my meals and workouts a week ahead of time to give me a more structured routine), a fitness guide, a resistance band, a fat-burning meal plan, and a kick-start your metabolism guide. I am doing the kick-start your metabolism plan which lasts a week and consists of 2 workouts a day. I have other Jillian DVDs as well and will be continuing to do 2 workouts a day throughout the 90 days. I do 1 workout when I wake up in the morning and another after my afternoon snack. The other DVDs that I own that I will be using as my afternoon workout after my 7 day metabolism work out are: Biggest Loser Boot Camp, 30 Day Shred, Killer Buns & Thighs, Ripped in 30, and Extreme Shed & Shred. I like to have different routines so that I stay interested.

Today's breakfast consisted of: Poached Eggs With Avocado, Canadian Bacon and Tomato [269 Cal]- 2 Jillian Michaels Maximum Strength Fat Burner Capsules


Today's lunch consisted of: Grilled Salmon Citrus Salad [368 calories]


Today's snack consisted of: Pecan Yogurt Vanilla Crunch [164 calories]- 2 Jillian Michaels Maximum Strength Fat Burner Capsules


Today's dinner (which was SoooOOooo good) consisted of: Peppercorn Steak on a bed of Wilted Spinach with a Tomato Salad [399 calories]

 For a total calorie consumption of 1,200 calories!!! :) And I never felt hungry once... at one point I was like "ugh; I have to eat again? I don't even feel hungry!" It's important to keep your calories low but not TOO low. You need all your energy to put into your workout.

  1. do you happen to have recipe for the peppercorn steak on a bed of wilted spinach served with a tomato salad? My kickstart book got ruined with liquid and I'm trying to replace the recipes. Thanks! Thanks for posting!
